Within a few hundred yards of Otto Lake, and a mountain view, this campus includes a 15 bedroom dormitory, complete with 4 full bathrooms, coin operated laundry machines, a separate building for the common and kitchen space, outdoor hangout space with a fire pit, as well as a community of cabins prioritized to dual occupancy and senior staff. The launch site is located on campus making the work commute a mere walk for guides, mechanics and drivers.
Quick Housing Facts
Rent: Auto Deducted from paycheck. Single Occupancy Dorm Room $80 a week, Single Occupancy Cabin $100 a week, Double Occupancy Cabin $120 a week (Total).
Security Deposit: $100 out of your 2nd paycheck
Quiet Hours: 11pm-7am
Rooms include: A bed, bedding, dish set, towel, clothing cabinet, desk, chair, trash can, and clothing shelf.
Parking available for 10 employee vehicles. If you plan on driving to Denali, please let the interviewing manager know.
Cabins are dry, meaning they do not have running water. They do have electricity, and heaters in them, and are within walking distance of main housing bathrooms and kitchen.
Laundry is coin operated. Quarters are available through housing managers.
Refrigerators are a shared space, meaning you will be keeping your food with other peoples food.
All employees living in employee housing have weekly chore duties assigned to them by the housing manager, in order to keep housing clean as a group.
Staff is required to do an end of season Deep Clean, that is mandatory for everyone.
Utilities are included in your rent: Gas, electric, trash, water, and Wi-Fi are all apart of listed totals.
We are in remote Alaska, and our Wi-Fi reflects that. Our bandwidth won’t support online gaming, massive downloads, and video calls. Streaming services are available in the living room and are usually reliable.
While you may seek housing off property, in order to live on property you must work at least 30 hours a week.
